Hard fought matches out there in the sun today. The first 5 matches to come in all had the score of 5 & 4, which started to seem a bit odd! A lot of closely fought matches came after that, all played in a great spirit as ever. A big thank you to the Junior’s Management team who had the foresight to buy the bottles of water and put them in the fridge in good time – definitely a life-saver today. A win for the ladies section this year 5 matches to 3.
This match also forms part of the Tim Brierley 4 sections which is where each section plays each other over the year and winner is the overall team with the most match points. So far the juniors & seniors have played 2 matches and the ladies and the men’s section 1 so still all to play for.
