The Glyfford Bowl may have had a smaller field than usual this year, with 10 pairs taking part, but it was a great day’s golf. The weather was much cooler than we’ve seen recently, although the wind certainly kept everyone on their toes – and, as always, a few generous bounces went in completely the wrong direction! 🤦🏻
The standard of golf was excellent, with every pair scoring 37 points or better. After a countback, finishing second on 45 points, were Ray & Gwen, but our worthy winners with a fantastic 48 points were Viv & Lee. Congratulations to you both! 🏆👏
Unfortunately, Lee had to leave before the final two groups finished, so our winners’ photo is of Viv proudly accepting the trophy on behalf of the pair.
