The NAPGC Championship weekend delivered two superb days of competitive golf, with outstanding performances from our players across both events.
Women’s Champion of England – Saturday at Cherwell Edge
Congratulations to Katy Lansley, who successfully defended the Women’s Champion of England Gross title. Katy produced another composed and confident round, maintaining the high standard that secured her victory last year and once again finishing at the top of the field.
JHB Trophy – Sunday
Sunday’s JHB Trophy brought further success for the club. Our team of Gill Cain, Sandy Kinch and Ishbel Thomson delivered an excellent collective performance to win the Team Net Trophy, a fantastic achievement reflecting consistency and strong scoring throughout the day.
A standout highlight came from Sandy Kinch, who produced a magnificent round of 76 (net 64) to win the Individual Gross Competition. Her back nine was particularly impressive, played in even par, showcasing superb control and confidence under pressure.
