A Great Day and a Great Result!
We enjoyed a lovely day, wonderful company and, fortunately, we were just that little bit better than our opponents — or perhaps we simply left slightly less out there than they did!
I finally got to play the infamous “pudding bowl” par 3 that Penny chose as the nearest‑the‑pin hole last year — a hole that traumatised more than a few of us! 😄
A huge thank you to Kate, who kept us in the match while I was somewhat AWOL golf‑wise early on. Thankfully, my putting decided to behave!
We also want to extend a big thank you to Athers, who stepped in for one round when I was poorly and helped secure the win against Southsea.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable day, great company, and a very satisfying result. ⛳️
